Every home is filled with boxes and wires these days, but you don't need to leave your modem or wireless router out in public view just because you need it in the house. Of course, if you don't have a convenient drawer to store yours away, you don't have to just put up with the ugly eyesore.
Sweet Sanity has a great tutorial on how to hide away your modem and router in plain sight using a stylish and attractive box. The proccess is pretty simple, just cut a few holes through the back for the wires to slip through and store away your boxes and extra cord.
The author does note that many commenters expressed concern about the devices overheating and she suggests cutting as many air holes as possible in the back and bottoms of the box -and, if you have any space on the sides that are also out view, air holes there can also be helpful.
