The Lanzavecchia + Wai Rocking Seat already proved that childish things like rocking horses and seesaws can look just as fabulous in your home as more traditional (boring) furniture as long as they come with a suitably "adult" packaging. If you still weren't convinced though, then perhaps designer Louise Campbell can help change your mind with her new Seesaw.
Unlike a traditional seesaw, this grown up version is made for indoor use and is even upholstered in a variety of colors to match the rest of your decor. Also different are the gentle ridges that allow you to sit without straddling the piece and to nuzzle up in the middle seat to use the Seesaw all by yourself.
While you might not want to sit down and watch TV while trying to balance with another person on the Seesaw, the design does encourage socialization and interaction -which is more than can be said about television and the seating typically used to watch it. Of course, it's always best to watch who you balance with -it might not be awkward for kids to notice that one person weighs way more than the other, but adults tend to be more sensitive about their size than youngsters.
The Seesaw will be manufactured by Erik Jorgensen, but there's no word yet on pricing for the peice.
